The Problem

Commuters had no reliable way to monitor live bus locations, resulting in long uncertain waits and poor journey planning. Existing solutions lacked real-time accuracy and mobile-first accessibility.

Architecture

Developed a React Native mobile application integrated with Firebase for real-time data synchronization and Traccar as the GPS tracking backend, self-hosted on DigitalOcean. TypeScript enforces type-safe API contracts throughout the stack, delivering sub-second location updates to end users.
